lll人

lll人 (pronounced /el/) is a perfect example of the sound of the London improv scene around Cafe OTO. The energetic trio formed by Daichi Yoshikawa (feedbacks, electronics), Paul Abbott (drums) and Seymour Wright (alto sax), claim that “the tools are familiar, but the listening and the space are not” and this philosophy translates in their constant pushing of conventional genre limits and seeking for new contexts for live playing. Probably the most fitting definition of lll人 is what the members of the formation have said about themselves: “Still finding, twisting and hammering out an expanding musical universe balanced only by its own logics.” The live recordings from their albums Gjērhan and vjerhanxsk are just snapshots of the unrestrained energy you will experience during their live performance.from molten musical pasts to grow future pleasures in sound.
